Brush Vacuuming on carpeted floors:
• The brushroll is switched on or off using
the brushroll on/off switch (Diagram 2).
Switch brushroll on for carpeted floors.
• The rotating brushroll loosens deeply
embedded dirt and brings it to the surface.
Vacuuming on smooth surfaces and
above floor cleaning:
• Switch brushroll off to obtain the
best results when vacuuming smooth
barefloor surfaces and for above floor
cleaning.

If something becomes lodged and

brushroll shuts off, turn cleaner
off and remove obstruction. Once
the problem has been fixed, the
vacuum cleaner can be switched
back on again after approximately
2 minutes by pressing the reset
button.
