2 Power switch
3 LC display; indicates the transmitting frequency
and the charging status of the batteries during op -
eration
4 Microphone connection (4-pole mini XLR jack)
5 Key
for increasing the frequency (in the fre-
quency adjusting mode) and for activating the lock
function (in the lock mode)
6 Key
for reducing the frequency (in the frequency
adjusting mode) and for deactivating the lock func-
tion (in the lock mode)
7 Key SET
with the unit not locked:
to recall and to exit the adjusting modes for fre-
quency and lock function → chapters 5.1 and
5.2.1
with the unit locked:
to recall and to exit the adjusting mode for the
lock function → chapter 5.2.2
8 Locking for the control part;
to unlock the control part, press down the two
latch ing buttons so that it unlocks and can be dis-
placed upwards (figs. 1, 2) or downwards (fig. 3)
9 Belt clip (can also be mounted if it is turned by 90°
or 180°)
10 Gain control; for matching the input sensitivity turn
the control with the supplied adjusting key
11 Battery compartment for two 1.5 V batteries of size

2 Important Notes

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C).

chemicals or water.

than originally intended, if it is not correctly operated

Do not put exhausted batteries/defective rechargea-
ble batteries into the household rubbish but take
them to a special waste disposal (e. g. collective con-
tainer at your retailer).
3 Applications
This multifrequency pocket transmitter is provided for
connection of a Lavalier microphone, headband micro-
phone, or instrument microphone and makes up a
wireless audio transmission system together with the
multifrequency receiver US-9001D / 2 from JTS. Within
the UHF frequency range of 740 to 764 MHz the trans-
mitting frequency can be selected as desired (fre-
quency spacing 125 kHz).
The pocket transmitter is supplied with a stable
transport box and the Lavalier microphone CM-501.

3.1 Conformity and Approval of the transmitter

Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare that
the unit PT-950B / 2 is in accordance with the basic
requirements and the other relevant regulations of the
directive 1999 / 5 / EC. The declaration of conformity
can be found in the Internet via the JTS home page
(www.jts-germany.de).
This unit may be operated in the following countries:

In the Federal Republic of Germany, the pocket trans-
mitter requires a frequency assignment (for which a
fee is charged).
In other countries, it is necessary to apply for a cor -
responding approval. Prior to operating the pocket
transmitter outside Germany, please contact the

disposal which is not harmful to the environ-
