Assembly
• Turn the canister upside down and install the four legs
with casters to the base of the canister (D).
• Stand the canister upright, align the canister lid with the
canister and close the vacuum, making sure the blow-off
port points away from the vacuum port.
• Insert the hose into the vacuum port and twist clockwise to
secure it in place (E).

Start Up
Setting ON and OFF
• To turn the vacuum cleaner on, plug the power cord into the
electrical outlet.
• Install the switch in the on position "I" (ON).
• To turn the vacuum cleaner off, install the switch in the "O"
(OFF) position, and disconnect the power cord from the
outlet.
CAUTION
• Always verify that the switch is in the off
position before connecting the power cord to the outlet.
Dry vacuuming
• Open the vacuum as instructed on page 6 to verify that
the dry vacuum cartridge filter is properly installed.
• If not, remove the blower (see page 8) and turn the
canister lid upside down.
• Install the filter in the filter cage (H) as shown. Then install
the motor cover in place.
WARNING
• Do not vacuum or work near toxic,
flammable, or explosive materials as indicated
in the safety warnings on page 5.
CAUTION
• For dry vacuuming do not use the foam
filter for liquid vacuuming.
• At the end of the vacuuming job, empty the
container before storing the vacuum cleaner.
• If necessary, connect one or more extension tubes to the
free end of the hose.
• Choose the appropriate nozzle and connect it to the free
end of the hose or, if necessary, to the
extension tube (G).
