Electrical installation
A qualified person or persons in accordance with all applicable
codes and standards must perform installation of electrical wiring.
This hood must be properly grounded.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
Installation
When installing the extractor hood, you must consider the minimum
safety distances listed above. To install the extractor hood, please
read the following installation instructions carefully:
Attach the duct to the air outlet adapter and use the screws
(2) ST3x6 to fasten both parts.
Drill 4 holes in the wall and place the 4 drywall anchors
(10x45 mm). Use the (2) ST5x45 screws to fix the upper part
of the hood body, then use (2) ST4.2x30 screws to fix the
lower part of the hood.
Drill 2 holes in the wall and place 2 drywall anchors. Use (2)
ST2.9x14 to fix the interior chimney cover, use (2) M3x6 to fix
the chimney cover underneath.
Carefully slide the top of the decorative chimney into the
bottom of the chimney. Carefully place the bottom of the
decorative chimney into the inset area of the top of the hood
body. Drill 2 holes in the wall and place 2 drywall anchors
(10x45 mm). Attach the chimney mounting bracket to the
wall using (2) ST4.2X30 screws. Level the hood and secure
the chimney with 2 of the M4x6 screws provided.
