BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

„ Remove all various packaging, stickers or accessories from both the inside and outside of
the kettle (do not forget to remove the transparent protective film from the screen).
„ Adjust the length of the cord by winding it under the base. Wedge the cord into the notch.

„ Before first use, rinse the kettle. Boil water at maximum capacity 2 or 3 times. Throw away
the water.
1. Place the base on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away from water splashes
and any sources of heat.
„ Kettle is only to be used with the base provided.
2. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. (fig 3)
„ Never fill the kettle when it is on its base.
„ Do not fill it above the maximum level (40.57oz / 1.2L), or below the minimum level
(16.91oz / 0.5L). If the kettle is too full, boiling water may spill out (fig 4).
„ Do not use without water.
„ Check that the lid is closed properly before use (fig 5).
3. Position the kettle on its base. Plug it into the outlet.
4. To start the kettle
„ Place the kettle on the base, the KEEP WARM INDICATOR will briefly illuminate in red
and the LED DISPLAY will show the current temperature. Press either the + or - buttons
and the last use temperature / default temperature will be displayed. (fig 7).
