Power ON/OFF
• Press the knob 1 to turn the Radio ON
and OFF.
Notes
-Every time the ignition key is removed, the radio
will automatically turn OFF. When the ignition key
is reconnected, the Radio will automatically turn
ON.
-When the ignition key is not connected, the
Radio can be turned ON by a brief pressing of
knob 1 and will allow normal operation by 1 hour.
After this time elapses, it will automatically turn
OFF in order to prevent an accidental battery
drain condition.
Activating the Security Code
Follow the steps below:
• Turn the Radio ON.
The display will show "SAFE" and the
number 1000.
• Use the preset buttons 4 to enter the
Code:
key 1 for the first number, key 2 for the
second number, key 3 for the third, etc.
• Once the Code is entered, press the keys
7 ( ) or 11 until a beep is heard.
The device will start working.
If a wrong code number is accidentally
entered, the display will show "SAFE"
flashing for a few seconds and then, the
code can be entered again just one more
time without penalty.
OPERATION
After two unsuccessful attempts, this
function will be locked for one hour.
The device must remain turned ON and the
ignition connected during this 1 hour
period.
Afterwards, another two tries are possible
and this cycle can be endlessly repeated.
Radio Comfort Coding
(according to car model)
If after entering the correct Code the device
is disconnected and then connected again,
it won´t be necessary to enter the code
number again as it is stored in the vehicle
memory.
