Band selection
FM button
• Press the key 15 ( FM1-2 ) to switch
between FM1 and FM2.
The display will show "FM1" or "FM2"
and the frequency.
AM button
• Press button 14 ( AM1-2 ) to switch
between AM1 and AM2.
The display will show "AM1" or "AM2"
and the frequency.
Note
- While in CD mode, press buttons 15
(FM1-2) or 14 (AM- 1-2 ) to switch to radio
mode.
Automatic tuning
• Select an AM or FM band.
• Briefly press one of the buttons 6 (
or 7 ( ).
The device will remain silent until it tunes
into the next station.
• To find another station, press either keys.
Manual tuning
• Select an AM or FM band.
• Turn knob 11 to move the frequency by
small steps (FM: 200 kHz, AM:10 kHz)
or ( FM: 100 kHz, AM: 9 kHz ), according
to the model.
OPERATION
Frequency scan
This function allows a quick sampling of all
radio stations available on the current band.
• Select an AM or FM band.
• Press button 11.
Each tuned station will be heard during 10
seconds.
• To stop the scanning process, press
button 11 again.
Station preset
This radio can store 24 radio stations in its
non volatile memory:
6 on FM1, 6 on FM2,
6 on AM1 and 6 on AM2
To store a radio station, follow these
steps:
• Choose the band.
) • Tune into the station.
• Press and hold the chosen preset 4 ( 1
to 6), until a beep is heard.
The display will show the band, the preset
number and the frequency.
• When this preset button is briefly
pressed, the stored radio station will be
recalled.
