7.6 Programming individual lighting mode
1. Start the program EHEIM V2.0.
2. Click on
to select an existing lighting project or click on
a new one.
3. Click on
in order to create a new lighting mode.
You can also use your computer's file manager to copy, insert and
rename the file (*.lmf) of an existing lighting mode, and this copied
file can then be used as a template for a new lighting mode.
4. Select Modesas the storage folder, or a random folder of your choice.
5. Give the lighting mode a unique name, e.g. My Mode 2017.lmf
6. Save the new lighting mode.
7. The new lighting mode will be displayed in the list.
8. You can adjust the desired brightness for the channels of your EHEIM
powerLED+ for each time. Click on the desired field and, with the mouse
button pressed down, move the bar to the desired value. In the example,
channel 1 (CH1) of your EHEIM powerLED+ is set to 70 % brightness at
03:00.
Using the cursor buttons ▶ and ◀ on your keyboard, you can respectively
increase or decrease the brightness by 1 %.
Using the cursor buttons ▲ and ▼ on your keyboard, you can respectively
increase or decrease the brightness by 10 %.
‧ The brightness change is carried out linearly with the time from
one time setting to the next (30 minutes). For example:
07:30: 0 % brightness
08:00: 80 % brightness
the brightness will then slowly increase: It will be at 40% at
07:45 and will reach the specified 80 % by 08:00.
‧ The bar colour in the program does not correspond to the
LED colours! Observe the channel assignment of your EHEIM
powerLED+, see chapter 8. Channel assignment EHEIM
powerLED+ light, page 32.
‧ The channels CH4 and CH5 have not been assigned.
9. Click on
in order to save your new lighting mode. Changes that are
not saved will be lost!
