8 – FINAL OPERATIONS

8.1 - SWITCHING OFF

When you have finished using the steam cleaner it is necessary
to wait until the pump has restored the correct water level in the
boiler before turning off the machine, in order to protect the
heating element. Operation of the pump emits a sound that can
be heard clearly. Once this has been done, turn the general
switch (2) to "0" to shut off the power supply.
WARNING: Turn off the power supply only
when the sound emitted by the pump has
stopped.
8.2 – CLEANING
Cleaning the accessories at the end of machine use is an
indispensable and obligatory operation that makes it possible to
keep the machine in perfect working order and prevent deposits
in the hose, extension tubes and in the vacuum bin. A lack of
machine maintenance and cleaning, aside from being
unsanitary, may cause bad odours.
To do this proceed as follows:
remove the top from the bin, by loosening the two black
clamps located on the external edge;
wash the steel bin;
refit the top, securing it using the two black clamps;
suction around half litre of clean water to wash the various
tubes;
repeat the operation twice;
Rinse and reposition all on the machine;
to sterilise everything, quickly steam the metallic bin and
possibly the extension tubes and other accessories used.
9 – MAINTENANCE
9.1 – ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
To ensure proper operation of the machine over time it is
necessary to perform a few simple operations in order to protect
the most sensitive elements.
9.1.1 – BIN MAINTENANCE
See chapter 8.2
9.1.2 – BOILER MAINTENANCE
In order to periodically discharge the water and any deposits of
material that can form in the boiler, it is necessary to drain it. To
do this it is necessary to:
make sure the machine is cold, not pressurised and placed
on a even surface;
unscrew the drain nut (15) located on the bottom of the
machine, using the specific key supplied with the machine;
slightly shake the machine and let the water and any
deposits in the boiler drain out;
close the boiler drain nut (15).
9.1.3 – TANK MAINTENANCE
If the cleaner is left unused for a long time it is advisable to clean
the tanks by removing the residual water in them, thus
preventing the formation of mould and deposits.
9.2 – EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE
In the event of a fault and/or malfunction contact the
closest assistance centre or the manufacturer. Any
unauthorised intervention invalidates the warranty and can
be source of danger.
Never open the machine
Never try to dismantle the machine. Contact the
Assistance Centre or Customer Service.
Always make sure that the power supply cord and socket
are not damaged. If they need to be replaced it is advisable
to contact the closest assistance centre.

10 – RESIDUAL RISKS
There are residual risks that were not possible to eliminate
during the designing phase.
These risks are listed below:
risk of getting burned in the lower part of the machine if the
safety valve opens due to a fault. Do not put your face near
the safety valve outlet drain located near the bottom part of
the machine.
Do not disconnect the power cord with wet hands. Risk of
electrocution.
Risk of being crushed if the machine flips over.
Risk of fires/explosions if easily flammable liquids are
vacuumed. Moreover, vacuuming various chemicals could
give rise to dangerous reactions.
Risk of fires/explosions if the machine is used in potentially
a explosive ambient
Do not direct the jet of steam towards electrical parts due
to risk of damaging them or electrocution.
When the power is on, do not direct the jet of steam or
machine accessories towards the eyes or near parts of
your body due to risk of burning.
11 – WARRANTY
The steam cleaner is under warranty for 1 year from the date of
purchase against manufacturing defects and material defects.
The warranty is valid if accompanied by the receipt or the
retailer's stamp with the purchase date. The warranty covers the
replacement or repair free of charge of parts or components of
the machine due to defects at the source due to manufacturing
defects. The warranty is not valid if the machine is used
improperly for any reason. In the event of a fault or malfunction
immediately contact the closest authorised assistance centre.
Any tampering with the machine by unauthorised personnel will
automatically invalidate the warranty.
The company shall not be held liable for accidents resulting from
use of the cleaner not in compliance with these use instructions
and for property damage/injury that is direct and/or indirect to
people, things or animals.
KEEP THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE AND IF IT IS NECESSARY
TO SHIP THE MACHINE TO THE ASSISTANCE CENTRE
THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE MUST BE USED. IF THIS IS NO
LONGER AVAILABLE, PLEASE CALL THE ASSISTANCE
CENTRE TO REQUEST ANOTHER PACKAGE (PAYMENT
REQUIRED).
