position.
If set to the "ON" position when the power is turned on, the status OSD is not displayed.
• Status display
The status display indicates the status with respect to operation of the front panel buttons and
operation from the parallel remote controller. The status display has priority over the user OSD
display.
The status of the play mode, etc., is displayed at the upper left, while the file name and other

• OSD error message display
If an error occurs in the DN-V750/V755 or an erroneous operation is performed, the error message is held. A description of the held
error is displayed on the OSD.
The error message displayed with this function is the same as that returned with the "?E" serial command.
• Display of error messages
If an error occurs, the "PLAY" and "STOP" LEDs on the front panel flash at 1-second intervals, indicating that there is a message.
At this time, the error message is displayed at the bottom of the screen when the "PLAY/PAUSE" button is pressed while pressing
in the "STOP" button.
When the error message is displayed, the LEDs stop flashing and are reset to their normal status.
If another error occurs when the previous error message is displayed, the new error message is displayed immediately. Press the
"PLAY/PAUSE" button while pressing in the "STOP" button again to turn the error message off.
If an error message is displayed while the user OSD is displayed, the user OSD cannot be displayed again until the error message
is cleared.
• Storing error messages
If a second error occurs while a first error is being held but has not yet been displayed, the old message is cleared and the new
message is stored.
In addition, if while an error message is being held, the error is confirmed with the "?E" serial command before the error message
is displayed on the OSD, the LEDs stop flashing and the error message is cleared.
• User OSD display
Any character string can be displayed on the user OSD using the "AT", "PR" and "CS" serial commands or the "OSDATT",
"OSDPRT" or "OSDCLR" script commands. The user OSD cannot be displayed at the same time as the status display. If both are
turned on, the status display has priority.
Letters (capital or small), numbers and symbols can be used on the user OSD, which can contain a maximum of 14 rows each with
a maximum of 44 characters (upper left coordinate: 0,0). For some monitors, however, some parts at the edges of the screen may
not be displayed.
The user OSD is controlled by serial command or script command.
