For fi ne hair, use a lower
temperature to get the best re-

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• Plug the unit in and press on the
'I' button. The iron will begin to
heat up. Set the temperature
using the selector. The red indi-
cator light will fl ash for a while
until the unit reaches the desired
temperature. When the light is
fi xed, the unit is ready to use.
• Divide dry or damp hair into
equal sections and comb before
curling. Press on the clamp lever,
place the iron halfway along the
section of hair and spread the
hair evenly between the clamp
and the barrel. Pull the iron gent-
ly to the end of the hair. To pre-
vent crimps, make sure the hair is
properly coiled under the clamp,
in the direction of the curl. Place
the clamp on top of the section
to curl the hair under. To curl the
hair out, place the clamp under-
neath the section.
• Coil the hair up to where you
want the curls to start, being ca-
reful not to touch the scalp with
the barrels. Keep the iron in place
for 5 to 8 seconds. For tighter,
bouncier curls, work with only a
little hair at a time. For looser, sof-
ter curls, work with more hair.
• To remove the iron, press on the
clamp lever and pull the iron out.
Wait until the hair has cooled
before brushing or combing to
allow the curls to 'set'. For best
results, we recommend using Ba-
Byliss PRO styling products.

• After use, press the '0' button and
unplug the unit. Wait until it has
cooled completely before put-
ting it away.
• If the unit remains unused for
longer than about 72 minutes,
the auto shut-off will turn the
unit off ; this option increases the
life of the barrels and provides
greater safety.
MAINTENANCE
Once unplugged and cooled, the
iron may be wiped with a damp
cloth. Make sure it is completely
dry before plugging it in again.
WARNING
The barrel becomes very hot in a
few seconds and should not touch
skin once plugged in. This iron be-
comes extremely hot when set to
the highest
temperature. Always test the iron
on a section of hair to make sure
that the setting is
appropriate for the hair.
