CLEANING AND
SERVICING
SELF-CLEAN
The self-clean function cleans the
inside of the iron, removing
impurities. We recommend that you
use it every 10-15 days. Instructions:
· Fill the tank up to the maximum
level indicated and switch the steam
regulator to the position " "
· Switch the temperature dial I to
maximum temperature and wait
until the indicator light (orange)
goes out.
· Unplug the appliance and place it
horizontally in the sink.
· Press and hold the anti-calc
button K until all hot water, steam
and impurities come out [Fig. 7].
· Clean the soleplate with a damp
cloth when it has cooled.
CLEANING
Note: Before cleaning the
appliance, ensure that the plug
has been removed from the
socket.
Any deposits, starch or residues on
the soleplate can be removed with a
damp cloth or with a non-abrasive
liquid detergent.
Avoid scratching the soleplate with
wire wool or metallic objects.
The plastic parts can be cleaned
with a damp cloth and later, dried
with a dry cloth.
STORING
· After using the iron, switch the
steam regulator to the position
" ".
· When there is no steam, switch
the temperature dial to the "min"
position. Unplug the appliance
from the power socket.
· Empty the tank putting the spout
below the iron and shaking gently.
· Leave the iron in a vertical
position to allow to cool completely.
· Wind up the power cable using
the winder.
· Always store the iron in a vertical
position.
