You can remove the nozzle without touching it by rotating
the front cover counterclockwise. (Fig. 8)

NOTE
○ Be careful not to remove the nozzle during work.
○ When removing it, be careful not to damage the
surroundings or the nozzle.
CAUTION
● Before attaching a nozzle, allow the unit to cool
down completely or use a suitable tool.
● A hot nozzle can set a surface on fi re. Place down
hot nozzles only on fi reproof surfaces.
● An incorrect or defective nozzle can lead to heat
accumulation and damage the unit. Use only
metabo HPT-specifi ed nozzles according to the
table that are suitable for your unit.
4. Using the Hook (Fig. 9)
CAUTION
● If the nozzle is hot, do not hang it for
transportation.
● The hook is behind the head. Use by pulling up
the top and then rotating the end of the hook.

5. Check battery insertion
CAUTION
Until the battery locks in place with a little click,
if not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool
causing injury to you or someone around you.
OPERATION
WARNING
Be sure to turn off the switch, then remove the
battery from the tool in the following situations:
• When stopping or ending work
• When attaching or removing a nozzle
CAUTION
To extend the lifetime, the lithium-ion battery
equips with the protection function to stop the
output. Therefore, if the tool is overloaded, the
motor may stop. However, this is not the trouble
but the result of protection function. In this
case, release the switch of tool and eliminate
the causes of overloading.
1. Switch Operations and Temperature Adjustments
Slide the switch down to select from two levels of air
volume, [set I] and [set II]. (Fig. 10-a)
By pressing the temperature control button, you can
adjust the set temperature in 8°F (10°C) increments
within the range in Table 5 for each set. The set
temperature is displayed on the LCD <Display>.
