LOADING THE TOOL
m Warning! When loading the tool 1) Never place a
hand or any part of the body in fastener discharge area
of the tool; 2) Never point the tool at self or anyone else;
3) Do not pull the trigger or depress the safety yoke as
accidental actuation may occur, possibly causing injury.
1. Move the pusher to rear until latched. Cover will open.
Pusher front will drop into notch on top of magazine
rail. (Fig 1)
2. Drop staple stick over magzine and slide forward.
Repeat until magazine is loaded, allowing enough space
for pusher to disengage the magazine and the cover to
close (approximately 13mm.) (Fig 2)
3. Pull Pusher back slightly and depress pin detents. Allow
pusher to slide forward over the pin detent. (Fig 3)
Note: Use only fasteners recommended by
Bostitch for use in Bostitch tools which meet
Bostitch specifications.
Note: These tools and staples are designed for the
installation of soft insulation material only and not for
wood to wood applications. The leg of the staple should
therefore only be partially driven into the workpiece. Use
of this tool for other applications may result in damage to
the tool or injury.
FASTENER DEPTH CONTROL ADJUSTMENT (FIG 4)
1. To adjust the fastener depth, first, set the air pressure
for consistent drive in the specific work.
2. Make sure that the air supply is disconnected before
making any further adjustments. Loosen the nut on
the tool nose (Fig 4) and raise or lower the noseplate
accordingly to give the desired depth of drive.
JAM CLEARANCE (FIG 5-6)

BEFORE CLEARING A JAMMED FASTENER
This tool contain a quick and easy jam clearance design.
To clear a jammed staple:
1. Disconnect the air supply.
2. Depress the latch as shown (Fig 5) allowing the
noseplate to open (Fig 6). Clear any jams and close
the plate ensuring the latch is fully engaged.
