SAFETY INFORMATION.
When you use an electric appliance, you must take all the basic safety precautions, including the
following:
1. Read all the instructions, labels, and product warnings before using the oven.
. Do not touch hot surfaces. When the oven is functioning, the oven door and the outside of
the oven could be hot. Always use oven gloves when handling hot items and allow metal
components to cool down before cleaning them. Let accessories cool down before taking them
out or putting them into the oven.
3. Unplug the oven at the wall socket when the oven is not in use or before cleaning it.
4. As a protective measure against electric shock, do not submerge the oven in water or other
liquid.
5. Be vigilant when children are nearby.
6. Do not use any electrical appliance if it is not working correctly or if the cable or the plug is
damaged. Take the appliance to the nearest authorised technical service agent to have it
examined, repaired or adjusted.
7. Do not use accessories that have not been supplied by the manufacturer as they could cause
a fire, electric shock or other harm.
8. Do not use this oven in the open air or for commercial purposes or any other purposes other
than that for which it has been designed.
9. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of the table or work surface.
10. Do not position the appliance near an electric or gas ring or another oven, as this could cause
a fire.
11. When the oven is in use, a fire could be started if it is covered or if it comes into contact with
inflammable material, such as curtains, cloth or an inflammable wall. Do not put anything on
top of the appliance while it is switched on.
1. Do not put any inflammable material in the oven, such as paper, cardboard, plastic or anything
else that could cause a fire.
13. When using the oven, be particularly careful when taking out the crumb collecting tray or
removing hot oil
14. The oven must not be cleaned with steel wool. Steel wool could severely damage the insulation
and come into contact with live electrical components, which could then cause a fire or an
electric shock.
15. To switch off the appliance, turn all the controls to the "0" position.
16. To disconnect the oven, turn off all the controls and then pull the plug out of the wall socket.
17. Do not cover the crumb collecting tray or any other part of the oven with aluminium foil as this
could cause the oven to overheat.
18. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by a qualified
technician, to avoid any danger.
19. This product must not be used by children or by others without assistance or supervision if
their physical, sensory or mental state prevents them from using it safely. Children must be
supervised to ensure they do not play with the product.

NOTES ABOUT THE CABLE:
a) A short power cable is supplied, to avoid the risk of people becoming tangled up in, or tripping
up on, a longer cable.
b) If separate power cables or extensions are used:
- The power rating of these must be at least the same as the power of the appliance.
- It the appliance has an earth lead, the cable extension must be a three core cable.
- The longer cable must be arranged in such a way that it does not hang down from the table
or work surface, so as to prevent children pulling it or tripping up on it.
USING THE MINI OVEN
NOTE:
1. When the oven is used for the first time it may smell or give off smoke. This is normal. It is due
to the protective substance on the heating elements. It is therefore recommended that the oven
be used empty for 15 minutes at the beginning. Ensure there is adequate room ventilation.
. The minimum distance between the food and the upper heating element should be 30 mm, so
that the food is evenly cooked.
3. Ensure that the crumb collecting tray is correctly in place before using the oven.
TOASTING BREAD
1. Turn the temperature control clockwise until it reaches the
elements will start to function. Open the oven door and place the slices of bread on the wire
shelf. Position the slices of bread on the centre of the shelf.
NOTE: When toasting bread, do not forget to remove the drip/baking tray first.
. Turn the timer to the required position, depending of how well toasted you want the bread to
be. Normally, the time ranges between 3 and 5 minutes. The longer the bread is toasted, the
darker the toast will be. This will ensure that the timer is set safely and accurately. To interrupt
the toasting process, you need only turn the timer back to the "O" position. When the timer has
reached the "O" position, a bell will ring to let you know that your toast is ready. The electricity
supply will be switched off at the same time.
Note: the bread may burn if toasted for a long time. Watch the bread while it is being toasted
and do not set the timer for too long.
GRILLING
1. Put the food on the wire shelf and attach the drip/baking tray beneath the shelf. When grilling
fatty food, always put the drip/baking tray under the wire shelf to collect any fat that drips.
. We would advise you to always preheat the oven for about 10 minutes before putting the food
in it.
a) Turn the temperature control clockwise until it reaches the temperature you require. To
obtain the best results it is usually better to turn the control to the highest temperature level
when cooking very thick food. When grilling, both heating elements will function.
b) Adjust the temperature according to the type of food and its thickness. The heating element
will switch on and off to keep the temperature constant. To grill for a short time, do not set the
timer for more than 15 minutes. To grill for a long time (more than 15 minutes) you must set
the timer to the "I" position. In this case, once the food has cooked, you must stop the oven
manually, turning the timer to the "O" position.
