I. Gas Pressure
1. The appliance and its individual shut-off valve (user supplied) shall be disconnected from the gas supply
system during any test system operation above ½ psi (3.45 kPa). The appliance shall be isolated from the
gas supply system by closing its individual manual shut-off valve during any gas supply system pressure
testing at test pressures of ½ psi (3.45 kPa) or less.
2. For your safety, do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors or liquids in the vicinity of this or
other equipment. Keep the area free of combustibles.
3. Improper installation, adjustment, modification, service, or maintenance may result in property damage,
injury, or death. Read the installation, operation, and maintenance instructions carefully before installing or
servicing this appliance.
4. Instructions shall be posted in a conspicuous place. All safety precautions must be taken if the user
smells gas. Safety information can be obtained from your local gas supplier.
5. These models are designed, manufactured and sold for commercial use only. If these models are located
so that the public can use the equipment, make sure that precautions, warnings, and operating instructions
are clearly posted near each unit so that anyone using the equipment will use it properly and will not injure
or damage the equipment.
6. A factory-authorized agent should handle maintenance and repairs. Before performing any maintenance
or repairs, contact the authorized service representative.
7. This product is intended for commercial use only. Not for home use.
8. Installation must comply with all local codes.
II.Installation
1. If burner U does not ignite, open pilot valve more.
2. If pilot flame appears larger than necessary, lower it and reset burner ignition.
3. The pilot flame should be as small as possible but large enough to ensure reliable burner ignition when
the knobs are turned to "I".
Note: Please check for leaks before reinstalling the control panel.
4. With the gas control knob pressed down, manually start the pilot burner.
5. Release the gas control knob approximately 10-20 seconds after the pilot burner is lit.
6. The pilot burner should remain lit - if not, repeat the previous steps.
7. Turn the gas control knob counterclockwise to the desired temperature mark.
8. The main burner will ignite automatically.
