3.3.1Installation via app

Download the devolo Home Network App to
your smartphone or tablet computer from the
corresponding store.

The devolo Home Network App is put on the
app list of your smartphone or tablet as usual.
Tapping on the devolo Home Network App
icon brings you to the start menu.

Then follow the prompts of the wizard.
Once the status bar is complete and both
LEDs on the device are lit green, the
WiFi 6 Repeater 5400 has been successfully
configured as a repeater.

3.3.2Installation via web interface

To set up the WiFi 6 Repeater 5400, you
need a terminal device (laptop, smartphone
or tablet) with WiFi capability.

For the initial set-up, the WiFi 6 Repeater 5400
sets up a temporary Wi-Fi network called
"devolo WiFi 6 Repeater 5400", which has no
Internet connection. Connect to this network
with your terminal device (no password is
required).

Use a web browser on your terminal device to
call up the address http://2.2.2.1.

Your WiFi 6 Repeater 5400 features two oper-
ating modes:

When you use the WiFi 6 Repeater 5400 as
a WiFi repeater, you expand your existing
network wirelessly.
