IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
The use of electrical appliances always requires compliance with general safety precautions
in order to reduce the risk of electric shock and/or injury to persons.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:

Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug from the outlet when not in use, before

assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug and
pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
To avoid the risk of serious injury and to avoid damaging the appliance, never place

your hands or any utensil in the measuring cup while the immersion blender is in
operation.
Do not place the appliance on or near gas or electric burners or in an oven or near any

sources of heat.
WARNING: THE BLADES ARE SHARP. SPECIAL CARE MUST BE TAKEN WHEN

HANDLING THEM DURING CLEANING OPERATIONS.
Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.

Do not use the product outdoors.

To protect against risk of electrical shock do not rinse or immerse the motor unit, the

whisk attachment, the attachment for the mincer, the power cable or the plug in water
or other liquids.
Always remove the plug from the socket when the appliance is left unattended, when

assembling parts/accessories, immediately after use, before any cleaning or maintenance
operations, or in the event of a malfunction.
To avoid splattering, especially when blending hot ingredients, use a tall container and

only process in small quantities.
