Operating the microwave oven
• Pay attention to the cooking time. Always cook for the shortest indicated time and increase it if necessary. Over-
cooked foods may smoulder or ignite.
• Cover food during cooking. Covers prevent spraying and ensure even cooking.
• Turn foods such as chicken and hamburger once during the cooking process. Large food such as roasts must
be turned over at least once.
• Rearrange foods such as meatballs after half the time from top to bottom and from the centre outwards.

Information about cookware

• The ideal material for a microwave oven is transparent to microwaves, allowing energy to penetrate through the
container and heat the food.
• Microwaves cannot penetrate metal, so metal dishes or dishes with metallic trim should not be used.
• Do not use recycled paper products for cooking in a microwave oven, as they may contain small metal frag-
ments which may cause sparks and/or fires.
• Round/oval dishes are better than square/oblong dishes, because food may overheat in the corners of the
dish.

6.3 Cooking
CAUTION! Risk of injury from heated food!
• Remove heated food from the microwave oven before moving the vehicle.
• Never move the vehicle when the door of the microwave oven is open.
NOTE
• You can set a maximum cooking time of 30 minutes.
• You can adjust the microwave power and the cooking time in any order (such as first
the cooking time and then the microwave power or vice versa).
