INSTALLATION & FITTING THE SPOUT
INSTALLATION (fig. A):
• 2 off-set connectors enable adjustable pipe-centres (150mm +/-20).
> Mixers supplied with standard connectors:
1. Using PTFE or a waterproof sealant on the 1/2" threaded connector, tighten offset connectors (1) at right
angles to the wall. Ensure a waterproof seal between the supply pipes and the finished wall.
2. Mount the offset connectors (1) ensuring that the mixer is horizontal. Tighten the cover plates (2)
onto the offset connectors (1) by hand.
> Mixers supplied with STOP/PURGE connectors:
Please see installation guide supplied with connectors.
Fitting the spout (fig. B):
For UK market mixer supplied with 2 brass spouts L.156. Alternative options include: 2 brass spouts
L.75mm (ref.20003), 15 disposable spouts (ref.20015) or 10 spout filters (ref.20040 or 30040).
• Brass spouts and spout filters: To remove the spout, turn it clockwise through 90° (1) then pull
towards you (2).
To replace the spout, reverse the procedure.
• Disposable spouts: To remove the spout, pull it towards you.
GENERAL FEATURES & TECHNICAL INFORMATION
• The factory pre-set is 38°C, with a temperature range of 50°C between the cold and hot water.
• Range of mixed water settings: from cold water up to 41°C. The maximum temperature is locked at 41°C.
• Maximum hot water temperature: 85°C.
• Min./max. pressure: 0.5 to 5 bar (recommended 3 bar). Difference in pressure at water entry: max. 1 bar.
• Safety:
If cold water shuts off, and if the mixed water selected temperature is below 42°C, the hot water will
shut-off (response time 2 seconds). The hot water fail-safe is active if the difference in temperature
between the hot water and the mixed water temperature is more than 15°C.
• Flow rate: limited to 9 lpm at 3 bar, 7 lpm at 1 bar.
• Filters and non-return valves at the water inlets protect the thermostat and prevent any back-flow into
the system.
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE (fig. C)
Our mixers have a factory setting based on 3 bar pressure for both hot and cold water supply, and a
temperature of 65°C for hot water and 15°C for cold water (+/- 5°C).
If the conditions of use are different, the mixed water temperature can differ from the temperature
indicated on the control (38°C). You should therefore adjust the control to the corresponding
temperature:
• Turn on the mixer and measure the temperature using a digital thermometer (3).
• Unscrew the grub screw (4) using a 2.5mm Allen key without removing it fully and remove the
control lever.
• Turn the valve spindle (5) to the right to increase the temperature and to the left to lower it
(15° of rotation for 1°C of temperature.
• Replace the control lever and check that the temperature stop does not exceed 41°C.
• When the mixed water temperature is set at 41° the control lever should be horizontal (to avoid contact
with the wall in the cold water position).
