4.5 FUNCTIONS
The appliance has a number of special functions to customise
and optimise use.
4.5.1 OPEN WINDOW
The "Open Window" function automatically detects the
opening of a window which is present in the proximity of
the radiator (for example during the housework) and it goes
in "Anti-Freeze" mode, in order to prevent a useless heating
and save energy. The function can also detect the closing of a
window and reset the previous operating condition.
When switching the appliance on, the function is already ac-
tive, ready to detect any open windows.
When the system detects an open window, the lower LED on
indicate the selected mode or function.
To cancel the "Open Window" function, press
"Standby" twice. If cancelling the "Open
Window" action using the "Standby" button,
when next switching the appliance on, it will
operate in the previously selected mode, and
the function will remain active and ready to
detect another open window.
For the optimal operation of the function, it is recommend-
ed to install the appliance near a window (Fig. 12).

SUGGESTED AREA
The appliance's reaction to the window openings
and closings depends on multiple factors, among
which the chosen temperature set point, the
external temperature, the ventilation degree of the
room, la radiator position in the room, presence of
other heating sources.
