Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. Do not use
tools to remove the battery; only use your fingers.
If possible, operate the tool to run the battery down
completely.
Hold the tool as shown in fig. G.
Gently knock the battery cover against a hard surface
such as a workbench to loosen the cover.
Remove the cover.
Pull the battery out and disconnect the wires to remove it
from the tool.
Place the battery in a suitable packaging to ensure that
the terminals cannot be short-circuited. Take the battery to
your service agent or a local recycling station. Collected
batteries will be recycled or disposed of properly.
