SAFETY
• This device is intended for house hold use only.
• To avoid damaging the device, check that the voltage indicated matches that of the location in
which it is used.
• To avoid all risk of electrocution, fire or other damage, never use accessories or items from other
manufacturers or which have not been approved by Petit Terraillon.
• Switch off the device and disconnect the power supply before changing the accessories or accessing
items which are mobile when operational. The device must always be disconnected from the electricity
supply if it is left without supervision and before assembly, dismantling or cleaning.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Wipe the electrical components with a dry cloth.
• Do not use the device if the power lead, plug or any other items are damaged. If the supply cable is
damaged, it must be replaced by the After Sales Service or by an individual with similar
qualifications in order to avoid potential risks.
• Never attempt to dismantle the appliance. Only the manufacturer, your supplier's after-sales service
or an approved technician should carry out any repairs required.
• This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental ability or people without experience or knowledge of using the device, unless they are under
the supervision of, or have first been instructed by a person responsible for their safety. Children must
be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
• Children must never be allowed to use the food processor without supervision. keep the appliance and
its cord out of reach of children.
• Do not touch the blades, especially when the device is connected to the mains, as they are extremely sharp.
• If the blades block, the device must always be disconnected before removing the ingredients
causing the blockage.
• Take care when handling the blades, particularly when removing them from the bowl and when the
bowl is being emptied or cleaned.
• The devices get very hot during steam cooking and may cause burns if in contact with the skin.
Always use the handles to lift out the bowls.
• Take care to avoid the boiling vapour which escapes from the bowls during cooking and when the
lids are removed.
• Always use the device on a flat surface.
• Never place the device near a source of heat such as an oven, cooker or heater.
• Never allow the device to operate without supervision.
• Never use the food processor bowl or any other part of the device in a microwave oven as the metallic
parts of the bowl handle and knives are not adapted to this type of use.
• Never sterilise the bowls or any other part of the device in a steriliser or microwave oven as the
metallic parts of the bowl handle and knives are not adapted to this type of use.
• Do not lift or move the device whilst in use.
• Never fill the steamer base during steam cooking as the boiling water and steam could escape
from the device.
• In order to prevent accidents, we strongly discourage connecting the device to a timer or a
separate control system.
• It is important always to check the temperature of the food on the back of your hand before feeding it to baby.
• Always check the consistency of the baby food. Make sure that the food does not contain any lumps.
• Only use the spatula provided to remove the food from the bowls.
