2. Safety Instructions
Before using the PPE breathing protection equipment, every user is
obliged to check the capacity of the air supply system, possibly also in
terms of the impact on other users of the system. The code "H" indicates
that the compressed air feed tube is heat-resistant. The code "S" indi-
cates that the compressed air feed tube is antistatic. The code "F" indi-
cates that the compressed air feed tube can be used in situations where
flammability can pose a hazard.
Before operation, the user must proceed with a risk assessment regarding
possible harmful components in the workplace, e.g. nitrogen. The user
must note that in conditions of very high working intensity, the pressure in
the breathing connection can become negative with maximum inhalation
air flow. Appropriate hearing protection must be used. The user must wear
the PPE in strict compliance with the information provided by the manu-
facturer.
3. Intended Use
The air regulator is part of the breathing protection apparatus and regu-
lates the flow of compressed air to the corresponding components.
4. Description
The air regulator is part of the breathing protection apparatus. It acts as
the interface between the compressed air supply system and the consum-
ers and consists of the main parts:
■ Connection breathing protection hood [2-6]
■ Connection compressed air supply [2-5]
■ Air volume flow controller [2-2]
■ Quick-action coupling for the connection of the spray gun [2-3]
■ CCS disk [2-1] to personalise the air regulator
■ Fastening module [2-7] to fasten the air regulator to the carrying strap
■ Hinged hood holder [2-4] for fitting the breathing protection hood
Notice!
The fastening module is mounted for an operation with the spray gun in
the right hand and can be switched accordingly for left-handed persons.
