7.3 RD-VRF Communicator Menu
The calibration keypad has a menu with several options, each one of them allows different settings to be adjusted

Description
1234. It allows access to the keypad menu, otherwise the user can only reset the
detector or view the firmware version. *To modify the alarm thresholds and the
hysteresis value, the password is 5345
When the detector is turned on for the first time, or when a new sensor head is
mounted in the detector, the ZERO calibration is recommended. This action must
be done under the following two conditions:
1. The detector is to be in fresh air
2. It must be powered on at least 8 hours
This feature displays the gas value compared to the concentration of the gas
being used. If the values differ it is recommended to proceed with a span
calibration. See Field Calibration Procedure.
