2) Switch on the saw.
3) Push the edge of the workpiece with your hand to hold
it securely against the flat on the table.
4) Position the workpiece and through the blade at a
suitable speed.
3. MITER CUTS (See Fig. C, J)
Loosen the lock knob on the miter gauge. With the miter
gauge in the miter gauge slot, rotate the gauge until the
desired angle is reached on the index scale. Retighten the
lock knob.
NOTE: For convenience, store the miter gauge in the slot
provided on the back of the band saw.
1) Fix the miter gauge onto the table, and position the
workpiece.
2) Lower the blade guide assembly down to the
workpiece.
3) Switch on the saw.
4) Hold the workpiece firmly against the miter gauge and
the table.
5) Guide the workpiece through the blade at a suitable
speed.
4. TILT THE WORKTABLE (See Fig. A, K1, K2)
The worktable can be tilted up to 45
Loosen the locking lever (17) by pulling it and turning it
counterclockwise. Set the table to the required angle and
then tighten the lever again.
For tightening, pull the lever and turn it clockwise.
NOTE: It is always recommended to make trial cuts
before work.
5. COMPOUND ANGLE CUTS AND MITER CUTS (See
Fig. L)
Tilt the table and adjust the miter gauge at a required
angle respectively. Lower the blade guide to the
workpiece. Operate cutting as in above mentioned
procedure.
MAINTAIN TOOLS WITH CARE
Remove the plug from the socket before carrying
out any adjustment, servicing or maintenance.
1. CHANGING AND SETTING THE SAW BLADE (See
Fig. M)
This band saw is equipped with a general purpose
woodcutting blade.
Loosen and remove the wing nut and table aligning bolt
from the worktable. And remove the worktable then.

To change the blade, loosen the blade tension by turning
the tensioning knob on top of the upper housing door.
Remove the blade. Fit the new blade and tension lightly.
The blade should be positioned in the center of the rubber
lined band saw wheels otherwise it may jump off from it.
To check tracking, turn upper wheel by hand. If required,
adjust tracking adjustment knob (11) with the knurled
handle at the rear of the upper wheel housing.
Keep tools sharp and clean for better and safer
performance. Inspect tool cords periodically and if
damaged, have repaired by authorized service facility.
Your power tool requires no additional lubrication or
maintenance.
There are no user serviceable parts in your power tool.
Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your
power tool. Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Always store
your power tool in a dry place. Keep the motor ventilation
slots clean. Keep all working controls free of dust. If you
see some sparks flashing in the ventilation slots, this is
normal and will not damage your power tool.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
