Alternatively, the interface can be connected to a CDC4 BUS 1
via the 4-pin plug-in RS-485 socket (Figure 1, item 14).

Bus termination

Wiegand reader connection
See Figure 1, item 12.
•
BZ: Open collector output to control reader beeper if fitted.
•
L1: Open collector output to control reader LED.
•
L2: Open collector output to control reader LED.
•
D1: Data connection to reader.
•
D0: Data connection to reader.
•
0V: Negative power supply connection to reader.
•
+12V: Power supply connection to the reader (450 mA
max. for both readers if powered from CDC-2DWIF).
Door lock and door contact connection
The connection of door locks and door contacts is described in
CDC4 Door Controller Installation and Programming Manual.
DIP switch settings
Select the required DGP address using DIP switch (Figure 1,
item 6). See Figure 3 for correct address settings.
LEDs
See Figure 1, items 4 and 5.
•
Tx: Red LED flashes when remote units (RAS and DGP)
are replying to polling.
•
Rx: Yellow LED flashes when panel is polling remote
units. It must always be active.
