CLEANING AND CARE
The radiant heater requires careful and regular maintenance to allow the unit
to operate effectively for a long time.
Maintenance
•
Check the cleanliness of the reflector and the heating wire at least once a
month.
•
The number of checks may increase depending on the dust in the
environment.
•
Check the reflector, wire and frame for visible deformations when cleaning
the unit. If you notice any deformation, contact a qualified technician.
•
When cleaning, inspect the mains cable and the mains plug. If you notice
any deformation, contact a qualified technician.
•
It is recommended to replace the reflector every 2 years to maintain the
effectiveness of the unit.
Cleaning
Regular and careful cleaning of the radiant heater is necessary to ensure long
and efficient operation of the unit.
•
For your safety, disconnect the power cord from the socket before
cleaning.
•
Remove the protective grille. Use a slotted screwdriver for this purpose.
•
The reflector and the heating wires can be cleaned with a soft cloth, a soft
brush or cool, dry air. The cloth must be damp but not wet. The cleaner
must not contain any chemicals.
•
Do not use materials that could damage the reflector. (cleaner etc.)
•
Replace the grille by fixing it with the screws.
