2. IMPORTANT
Before installing MINI 9 - MINI 9S, it is necessary to set up a protected
electrical outlet suitable to its power (it is recommended to use an earth
protector thermo-magnetic switch 16 A and Id 30 mA). This ironing board is not
suitable for children, people with physical or mental handicaps or inexperienced
persons, unless they are instructed by a person who takes the responsibility for
their safety. Children must not play with the ironing board.
3. OPENING OF PACKAGE
1. Open the box containing the MINI 9 - MINI 9S from the side
marked instructions manual and read it very carefully.
2. Fix the boiler stand/iron rest as shown in fig. 1
3. For models equipped with sleeve ironing arm, assemble the arm and fix it to the
board by screwing the respective knob.
4. COMPULSORY
1. Connect MINI 9-MINI 9S to a suitable protected socket.
2. Always keep children away from MINI 9, whether it is switched on or off.
3. Never leave garments on the board when it is switched on because they might
get spoilt or even burnt.
4. Never use MINI 9-MINI 9S without the cover properly positioned.
5. Be sure that the electric cable or pedal cable do not touch any hot surfaces.
6. The operator must never leave the ironing board unattended when plugged into
the mains.
7. The iron must always be used and rested on a sturdy surface.
8. Never leave the iron on the board or on the garments when it is switched on.
5. IRONING
Open the ironing board and set it at the desired height (the lock is released every
time a "height block position" is set).
Turn on the main switch (the switch will lighten). Now it is possible to use the vacuum
function in order to keep the garment well outstretched and eliminate the humidity of
the garment while ironing. MINI 9-MINI 9S is also equipped with blowing function to
iron delicate garments.
The ironing board is also supplied with a socket to attach a steam generator MINI3-4-5.
N.B. Always use the vacuum function while ironing. This avoids water condensation
inside the board with consequent dripping of water onto the floor.
6. GOOD FUNCTIONING
MINI 9-MINI 9S was designed for the ironing in tailor shops or very small garment
factories . It can be used maximum 20 hrs. per week or 80 hrs. per month (subdivided
in many times).
