BEFORE STARTING WORK.
Make sure that the hot air gun is firmly supported before
using. Check that no one is standing beneath you when
using the hot air gun in high areas. Keep your hands
away from all moving parts of the hot air gun.
DURING THE OPERATION.
Do not leave the hot air gun operating without having it
firmly fixed. Only turn it on when you are sure you have
full control over it. Do not point the hot air gun at anyone
while in use. When operating the hot air gun will produce
vibrations. The screws may gradually come loose, and
possibly cause faults or accidents. Keep your hands
away from all moving parts of the hot air gun.
AT FINISH WORKING.
Do not touch the possible accessories installed in
the hot air gun after use. It may be hot and cause
burns. Some materials worked with may contain
chemicals or toxic components. Avoid inhaling
these substances or allowing them to come into
contact with your skin. Use PPE designed to
prevent and protect against incidents of this kind.
WARNING: LEAD-BASED PAINTS.
Extreme care should be taken when stripping paints.
The residues and vapors of paints may contain lead,
which is poisonous. Especially surfaces painted more
than 30 years ago may contain lead. For surfaces
painted with lead-based paint, hand to mouth contact
can result in the ingestion of lead. Exposure to even
low levels of lead can cause irreversible brain and
nervous system damage; young and unborn children
are particularly vulnerable. Before beginning any
paint removal process, you should determine
whether the paints you are removing contain lead.
This can be done by your local health department
or by a professional who uses a paint analyser to
check the lead content of the paint to be removed.
Lead-based paints should only be removed by a
professional and should not be removed using a hot
air gun.
WARNING:
PROPERTY

touch the nozzle while hot air gun is on, severe

burns will result. Wear gloves to protect hands. 3)
Keep moveable items secured and steady while
scraping. 4) Make sure hot air gun is cooled before
storing. 5) Do not leave the hot air gun unattended,
turn off and unplug if you leave the work area.
WARNING: EXPLOSION OR FIRE.
This hot air gun produces extremely high
temperatures (as high as 600°C). It must be used
with caution to prevent combustible material
from igniting. 1) Keep the hot air gun in constant
motion. 2) Use extreme caution if the other side
of the material being scraped in inaccessible,
such as house siding. Other hidden areas behind
walls, ceilings, floors, soffit boards, fascia, or other
panels may contain flammable materials that could
be ignited by the hot air gun when working these
locations. Check these areas before applying
heat and do not use if flammable materials are
present, or if you are not sure. The ignition of these
materials may not be readily apparent and could
result in property damage and injury to persons.
When working in these locations, keep the hot air
gun moving in a back-and-forth motion, lingering
or pausing in one spot could ignite the panel or the
materials behind it. Do not leave operating hot air
gun on supporting surface with its nozzle attached.
3) Do not use near surfaces with cracks or near
metal pipes or flashing. 4) Do not use electric tools
in the presence of flammable liquids or gases. 5)
Do not use near combustible materials such as
dry grass, leaves, and paper, which can scorch
and catch fire. 6) The nozzle becomes very hot.
Do not lay the hot air gun on flammable surfaces
while operating or after immediately shutting off.
Always set on a flat, level surface so the nozzle tip
is directed upwards. 7) Do not use the hot air gun
as a hair dryer.
IMPORTANT.
A fire may result if the hot air gun is not used with
care, therefore:
1) Be careful when using in places where there are
combustible materials
2) Do not apply to the same place for a long time
3) Do not use in presence of an explosive atmosphere
4) Be careful as heat may be conducted to
combustible materials which are out of sight
5) Place on its stand after use and follow to cool
before storage
