Safety instructions for rechargeable batteries
− Keep batteries/rechargeable batteries out of reach of children. If any part was
swallowed, immediately see a doctor!
− The rechargeable battery is not exchangeable. When it has reached the end of its
life, the entire product must be replaced.
− Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries. Do not short-circuit batteries/
rechargeable batteries or open them up. This may result in overheating, risk of
fire, or bursting.
− Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries in fire or water.
− Do not subject batteries/rechargeable batteries to mechanic stress.
− Take batteries/rechargeable batteries out when they are depleted or if the
product will not be used for a longer period of time.
− Never combine different types of batteries or batteries with different charge
levels.
CAUTION!
Risk of batteries/rechargeable batteries leaking
− Avoid exposing batteries/rechargeable batteries to extreme conditions or
temperatures, e.g. on radiators/in direct sunlight.
− Prevent any contact with skin, eyes and mucosa! After any contact with battery
acid, rinse affected part of body with sufficient quantities of clear water and
immediately see a doctor!
− Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries can cause chemical
burns if they come into contact with the skin. Accordingly, please wear suitable
protective gloves for handling.
− In the event of leaking batteries, remove them immediately from the product in
order to prevent damage.
