Use the following procedure to install the lateral
guide fence:
1.
Mount the lateral guide fence at one side of the
machine. Two plug-in positions are possible.
➢
Position A: The rider with resilient stop
pin and the stop pins in the base plate are
in the same direction.
Position B: The rider with resilient stop
➢
pin protrudes downward beyond the
contact surface of the base plate.
2.
After you have inserted the lateral guide fence,
check to ensure that the safety catch (18) is fully
engaged.

Press the button (19) to adjust the rider with the resilient stop pin to the desired edge distance or repositioning
distance. The distance from the edge can be set continuously in a range between 105 and 320 mm [4.13 -
12.60 in] in 5-mm increments [0.20 in] towards the drill bit center.
Use the following procedure to install the roller
edge guide on the lateral guide fence:
1.
Use the rider (C) without resilient stop pin on the
lateral guide fence.
2.
Position the roller edge guide and push it
rearward until it hits the stop.
3.
Turn the lever (20) to position "2" to lock.
Take note of the icons on the roller edge

Use the following procedure to make a fine
adjustment at the roller edge guide:
1.
Move the roller edge guide via the lateral guide
fence to position.
2.
Loosen the knurled nut (21) by a few turns.
3.
Use the knurled screw (22) for the fine
adjustment.
Movement +/- 5 mm [0.20 in] / 0.1 mm

[0.004 in] movement per scale graduation
4.
Tighten the knurled screw (21).
