7.Replacing the fuses

WARNING: To avoid electric shock, disconnect the test leads from any source of
voltage before removing the fuse door.
1. Disconnect the test leads from the meter and any items under test.
2. Unscrew the rear battery cover 180°.
3. Remove the old 200mA fuse from the holder by gently pulling it out.
4. Install the new fuse in the holder.
5. To replace the 10A fuse, unscrew the 4 screws of the rear cover.
6. Install the new fuse in the holder.
7. Close all covers before using the instrument
8. Use only fuses of the proper size and value (200mA / 600V for 200mA - 10A / 600V
for 10A)..
8.Care and maintenance
WARNING: To avoid electric shock, do not operate your meter until the fuse door is
in place and fastened securely.
1. Disconnect the test leads from the meter and any item under test.
2. Open the fuse door by loosening the screw on the door using a Phillips head screw
driver.
3. Remove the old fuse from its holder by gently pulling it out.
4. Install the new fuse into the holder.
5. Always use a fuse of the proper size and value (200mA/600V fast blow for the 200mA
range,10A/600V fast blow for the 10A range).
6. Put the fuse door back in place. Insert the screw and tighten it securely.
