INSTALLATION GUIDE

This guide describes the installation, setting into service and settings of this product.
1. SAFETY
Safety and liability
Please read these instructions carefully before installing and using this product.
This Somfy product must be installed by a home motorisation and automation professional for
whom this guide is intended.
Moreover, installers must comply with the standards and legislation in force in the country where the
product is installed, and inform their customers of the operating and maintenance conditions for the
product.
Any use outside the scope of application defined by Somfy is prohibited. In this event, as
with all usage not consistent with these instructions, Somfy accepts no liability and the Somfy
warranty is invalidated.
Never begin installing without first checking the compatibility of this product with the associated equipment
and accessories.
Specific safety instructions
To avoid damaging the Impresario Chronis io:
Avoid impacts!
Do not let the product fall!
Never immerse it in liquid.
Do not use abrasive products or solvents to clean it.
2. SETTING INTO SERVICE FOR THE FIRST TIME
[1]. Insert three type AAA (LR03) 1.5 V alkaline batteries.
[2]. The Somfy logo appears on the screen.
[3]. Select the language with the ( n ) buttons. Validate by pressing the (ok) button.
[4]. Set the date, time and 12/24 hour mode: set each value using the ( n ) buttons, and move
from one element to the next using the ( o ) buttons.
Validate the setting by pressing the (ok) button.
3. IO SYSTEM KEY
Is an io-homecontrol® remote control transmitter already part of the installation?
[YES]. ->go to: "Transferring the system key".
[NO]. -> go to: "Pairing the Impresario Chronis io with an io motor or receiver".
4. TRANSFERRING THE IO SYSTEM KEY
[1]. Place the existing remote control transmitter 1 in key transfer mode:
- Keytis, Telis, Impresario or Composio remote control transmitters: press (2 sec.) the (KEY) button.
- Other none Somfy remote control transmitters: refer to the instructions.
[2]. Briefly press and release the (KEY) button on the Impresario Chronis io to be added. Wait
for the storage process to end, the green indicator light and screen show that the storage was
successful.
5. PAIRING THE IMPRESARIO CHRONIS IO WITH AN IO MOTOR
OR RECEIVER
[1]. Press the (PROG) button on the Situo io until the application (e.g. shutter) moves briefly (2 sec.).
[2]. Briefly press and release the (PROG) button on the Impresario Chronis io, the Impresario
Chronis io indicator light blinks, and an hourglass appears on the screen, wait for the operation
to end (up to 1 min.).
If the indicator lights up green and stays on, the screen and brief movement of the application

- If the indicator light blinks orange, pairing has failed, repeat the procedure.
Note: if the Impresario Chronis io is already paired with this io motor or receiver, this procedure

1. SEGURANÇA
Segurança e responsabilidade
Antes de instalar e de utilizar este aparelho, leia atentamente este guia.
Este produto Somfy deve ser instalado por um técnico de instalação de automatismos domésticos, a
quem se destina este guia.
O instalador deverá, sobretudo, cumprir as normas e leis em vigor no país em que o aparelho vai ser
instalado e informar os clientes acerca das condições de utilização e de manutenção do mesmo.
Não é permitida qualquer utilização fora do âmbito da aplicação especificada pela Somfy. A utilização
indevida, assim como qualquer incumprimento das instruções constantes deste guia, resultam na
invalidação da garantia e exoneram a Somfy de toda e qualquer responsabilidade.
Não comece nenhuma instalação sem verificar primeiro se este aparelho é compatível com o
equipamento e acessórios associados.
Instruções de segurança específicas
Para evitar danificar o Impresario Chronis io:
Evite os impactos!
Não deixe o aparelho cair!
Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em líquido.
Não utilize produtos abrasivos ou solventes para limpar o aparelho.
2. COLOCAÇÃO EM FUNCIONAMENTO PELA PRIMEIRA VEZ
[1]. Coloque três pilhas alcalinas do tipo AAA (LR03) de 1,5 V.
[2]. O logótipo da Somfy aparece no ecrã.
[3]. Seleccione o idioma utilizando os botões ( n ). Para validar, prima o botão (ok).
[4]. Para definir a data, hora e modo 12/24 horas: defina cada valor utilizando os botões ( n ) e
passe de um elemento para o seguinte utilizando os botões ( o ).
Para validar a regulações, prima o botão (ok).
3. CHAVE DO SISTEMA IO
A instalação já possui um controlo remoto io-homecontrol®?
[SIM]. -> vá para: "Transferir a chave do sistema".
[NÃO]. -> vá para: "Associar o Impresario Chronis io com um motor ou receptor io".
4. TRANSFERIR A CHAVE DO SISTEMA IO
[1]. Coloque o controlo remoto n.º 1 existente no modo de transferência de chave:
- Controlos remotos Keytis, Telis, Impresario ou Composio da Somfy: prima (2 seg.) o botão (KEY).
- Controlos remotos de outras marcas: consulte as instruções.
[2]. Prima ao de leve e solte o botão (KEY) no Impresario Chronis io a adicionar. Aguarde até
o processo de armazenamento terminar; o indicador luminoso verde e o ecrã mostram que o
armazenamento foi realizado de forma correcta.
5. ASSOCIAR O IMPRESARIO CHRONIS IO COM UM MOTOR
OU RECEPTOR IO
[1]. Prima o botão (PROG) no Situo io até a aplicação (por exemplo, um estore) se deslocar ligeiramente
(2 seg.).
[2]. Prima ao de leve e solte o botão (PROG) no Impresario Chronis io; o indicador luminoso do
.
Impresario Chronis io pisca e no ecrã aparece uma ampulheta. Aguarde até a operação terminar

(até 1 min.).
Se o indicador luminoso verde se acender e ficar fixo, o ecrã e o breve movimento da aplicação
indicam que a associação foi realizado correctamente.
- Se o indicador luminoso laranja piscar, significa que a associação falhou. Repita o procedimento.
Nota: se o Impresario Chronis io já estiver emparelhado com este motor ou receptor io, este
procedimento anulará a associação.

producto.

Seguridad y responsabilidad
Antes de instalar y utilizar este producto, lea detenidamente esta guía.
Este producto Somfy debe ser instalado por un profesional de la motorización y la automatización
del hogar, a quien va dirigida esta guía.
Asimismo, el instalador debe cumplir la normativa y legislación vigentes en el país donde se va a instalar el

Queda prohibido todo uso que esté fuera del ámbito de aplicación definido por SOMFY. En caso

Instrucciones específicas de seguridad
Para evitar posibles daños a Chronis io:

Nunca lo sumerja en líquidos.
No utilice productos abrasivos ni disolventes para limpiarlo.
2. PUESTA EN MARCHA POR PRIMERA VEZ
[1]. Introduzca tres pilas alcalinas tipo AAA (LR03) 1,5 V.
[2]. El logo de Somfy aparacerá en la pantalla.

3. LLAVE DEL SISTEMA IO
¿Existe un mando a distancia io-homecontrol® ya instalado?
[SÍ]. -> vaya a: "Transferencia de la llave del sistema".
[NO]. -> vaya a: "Asociación del Impresario Chronis io con un motor o receptor io".
4. TRANSFERENCIA DE LA LLAVE DEL SISTEMA IO
[1]. Coloque el mando a distancia existente 1 en el modo transferencia de llave:
- Mandos a distancia Keytis, Telis, Impresario o Composio: pulse (2 seg) el botón (KEY).
- Mando a distancia que no sea de Somfy: consulte las instrucciones.

[2]. Pulse brevemente y suelte el botón (KEY) del Impresario Chronis io a agregar. Espere a que
finalice el proceso de almacenamiento, el indicador luminoso de color verde y la pantalla indicarán
que el almacenamiento se ha realizado con éxito.
5. ASOCIACIÓN DEL IMPRESARIO CHRONIS IO CON UN
MOTOR O RECEPTOR IO
[1]. Pulse el botón (PROG) del Situo io hasta que la aplicación (por ejemplo, persiana) se mueva brevemente
(2 seg).
[2]. Pulse brevemente y suelte el botón (PROG) del Impresario Chronis io, el indicador luminoso
del Impresario Chronis io parpadeará y un reloj de arena aparecerá en la pantalla, espere a que
finalice la operación (máximo de 1 min).
Si el indicador luminoso se pone de color verde fijo, la pantalla y el breve movimiento de la
aplicación indicarán que la asociación se ha realizado con éxito.
- Si el indicador luminoso parpadea en naranja, la asociación ha fallado, por lo que deberá repetir
D el procedimiento.
Nota: si el Impresario Chronis io ya está sincronizado con este motor o receptor io, el presente procedimiento
deshará la asociación.
