DESCRIPTION (A)
The pressure switch is intended for private use,
e.g. in a hobby garden. The product is not intended
for operation of irrigation or irrigation systems in
commerce, industry or public areas (e.g. garden
facilities).
Only clean fresh water must be conveyed (rain water
from a cistern, ground water from own well). The
conveyed liquid must not be hotter than +60 ºC..
The pressure switch must be installed at the output of
a garden pump (pressure-side). There, it activates or
deactivates the garden pump depending on the present
water pressure. A garden pump with a conveyor output
of at least 2000 l/h is required.
Thus, the combination of conventional garden pump
and pressure switch off ers the same function as a
conventional home water works.
Additionally, the pressure switch off ers a running-dry
protection for the garden pump, since the fl ow rate
is monitored. If too little water fl ow is recognised the
pressure switch switches off the connected garden
pump.
These operating instructions must be passed on to any
person who uses the pressure switch. The pressure
switch must only be used if these operating instructions
have been read and understood. The safety notes and
all other information in these operating instructions
always have to be observed.
Any use other than that described above can damage
the product and may involve additional risks such as
short circuit, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of this
product must be modifi ed or converted!

USE AND OPERATION

The ASIST equipment and machines are designed for
domestic or hobby use only.
The manufacturer and the importer do not recommend
to use this equipment under extreme conditions and at
high loads. Any other additional requirements must be
agreed upon by the manufacturer and the buyer.
Function Description
The pressure switch is installed at the output of a gar-
den pump (pressure side) and the mains cable of the
garden pump is connected to the socket in the rear of
the pressure switch.
After the pressure switch has been connected to the
mains voltage, the pressure switch will activate the
garden pump for about 35 seconds.
If a certain working pressure set ex works is reached,
the pressure switch will switch off the garden pump.
When opening, e.g., a water spray or water tap on the
outlet side of the pressure switch, the water pressure
drops, upon which the pressure switch automatically
activates the garden pump. The garden pump will run
until the water spray or tap is closed. Then the water
pressure in the garden hose increases, the pressure
switch switches off the garden pump again.
The pressure switch also monitors the fl ow rate. If
no noticeable water fl ow is recognised, the pressure
switch switches off the connected garden pump auto-
matically to protect it from running dry.
A „RESTART" button on the pressure switch serves
manual restart of the pump (e.g. if the pressure switch
has recognised running dry).
