Adjusting the brightness level of the probe
You can adjust the brightness settings for probe opening and closing. This
function allows you to adapt to the light conditions of the seasons or places.
By default, the Lux values are 210 for opening and 80 for closing.
a. Press MENU to turn the device on or out of sleep.
b. Press MENU to access the list of submenus.
c. Using the arrows, go to the Ruler submenu. Lum levels then validate by pressing the MENU key.
d. Press MENU to adjust the lux and then use the arrows to choose the new value. Press MENU to
validate and switch to the closing lux (night) and repeat the same operation.
To avoid any untimely triggering of the door by the passage of a shadow (cloud, person etc.) we
advise you to adjust the lux as follows:
Start from the minimum number of Lux and then shade in front of the probe. If the door closes
increase the Lux value.
This method makes it possible to determine the appropriate number of Lux between the shadow and
a full moon night
for example.
Note that you can always read the number of Lux at a given time via the menu provided for this
purpose (see next paragraph)
A closing setting with a value of Lux too high can cause a malfunction in the programming of the
case.
Ambient light reading
To help you determine the ambient Lux level select the Light Level Reader mode.
Press the MENU key to access the submenu. The device will then give you the
ambient light level. This will facilitate the setting of Lux for opening and closing by
probe.
Factory reset
Press the Reset menu to restore the device to factory values.
Low Battery
The message "low battery" appears when:
Voltage of 5V or equal: you can continue to use the product, but you will have to change the
batteries quickly.
Voltage less than 5V: the product is safe. Change the batteries immediately.
