Before using your new Electronic insect killer, please read
Before using your new Serial PIC microcontroller programmer
this instruction manual to prevent any damage. Put it away
extensor, read the following recommendations.
• Do not place the programmer over metallic surfaces.
• Do not put metallic objects on the programmer.
• Before to plug or unplug a PIC from the base, you must to disconnect
the serial port from the computer.
• Do not expose the card to extreme temperatures.

PROGRAMMING A PIC
To program a PIC from the family 16F873, 874 & 877, follow these steps:
1.- Locates the PIC-505 ends, then plug them into 18pin PIC-500
base. Make sure that ends are correctly installed, paying attention to
printed figure on PIC-505.
2.- Plug the DB9 cable (male-female connectors) to an available serial
port on the computer. The other end plug into the programmer board
PIC-500.
3.- Once you have connected the cable to the board, insert the integrated
circuit on the correspondent IC socket on PIC-505.
4.- Execute ICPROG program as you do using PIC-500.
5.- Remove the programmed PIC or circuit from the extensor.

You must use PIC-500 microcontroller programmer to use the PIC-
505 extensor, otherwise it won't works.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in
workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the
date of purchase.
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or
purchase ticket, product box or package, and product, must be
presented when warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free
of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the
claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accessories to
customer, as well as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned
later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God,
mishandling, leaky batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions,
improper repair by unauthorized personnel, improper safe keeping,
among others.

establishment.
b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice
or purchase ticket.
