New construction
• Use the optional specific mounting kit.
• Prepare the cables and make sure you leave enough cable length to be able to connect your product with ease
(approximately 193/4"/ 50cm). We recommend using a cable with a marker to ensure the polarity of the speaker drivers
is respected (+/-). Choose good quality cables with a cross-section appropriate for the length. You dealer will be able to
advise you (fig. 3).
• The loudspeaker is fitted into the wall using rotating brackets. To do this, place the loudspeaker into the cut-out opening
and turn the screw on the mounting brackets clockwise to tighten it using a Phillips head screwdriver or a screw-gun. If
using a screwdriver, make sure that the tightening torque is set to a low value to avoid damaging the mounting brackets
(fig. 5). The loudspeaker is adequately attached when you feel resistance at the end of tightening.
Positioning the tweeter (100 ICW6-T and 100 ICW8-T)
For the 100 ICW6-T and 100 ICW8-T models, the tweeter can be pointed towards the listening zone for a more precise
treble and stereo image (fig. 6).
ICW6-T, ICW8-T: 0 to 20° angle and 360° rotation.
Power setting (100 ICW5-T, 100 ICW6-T, 100 ICW8-T)
The power setting for the transformer of each product is found on the front panel (fig. 7).

SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
Paint
You can paint the grille of your 100-T Series products (100 ICW5-T, 100 ICW6-T, 100 ICW8-T) so that they are coordinated
with your environment. We recommend that you firstly remove the grille and paint it using a paint gun. The paint used can
be the same type as the paint used on the walls . Ensure that you do not clog the grille with paint, to avoid altering the unit's
sound quality.
Running-in period
The speaker drivers used in the Integration 100-T Series loudspeakers are complex mechanical assemblies which need a
break-in period to operate at their best and to become acclimatised to the temperature and humidity of your environment.
This running-in period varies depending on the conditions in question and may take several weeks. To reduce this time, we
recommend operating your loudspeakers for about twenty consecutive hours.
Once the loudspeakers' characteristics have totally stabilised, you will be able to enjoy your Integration 100-T Series
loudspeakers' performance to the full.
Warranty terms and conditions
Outside France, Focal equipment is covered by a warranty for which the terms and conditions are determined or implemented
locally by the official Focal distributor for each country, in accordance with the laws in force in the region in question.
