SAFE AND PROPER USE:
1. Press the ON/OFF (1) button once. The digital display will show
the routine display test. After one second, the thermometer will
be ready to take a reading. Place the STAINLESS STEEL PROBE (6)
(inserting at least 1 inch) where the temperature reading is to be
taken. Press the ON/OFF button again to turn the thermometer off.
2. When the DIGITAL DISPLAY (3) is in normal mode, press the
HOLD (5) button and the temperature reading will not change (it
will remain in the digital display). Press the button again and it will
return to normal mode.
3. While in normal mode, press the MAX/MIN (4) button. The maxi-
mum temperature stored in the memory will be displayed. Whene-
ver the thermometer is turned on, the last maximum and minimum
temperatures will be displayed.
4. To change between ºF and ºC, press the ºC/ºF (2), button indica-
ted and the temperature will be displayed in the measuring system
selected.
5. To replace the batteries, open the battery compartment. Use
LR1130 or AG13 batteries.
