ACTIVE SHIELD
GENERAL INFORMATION / The Active Shield device is an electronic device
manufactured by Narvalo Ltd. for BLS's Zer0 32 Active series models. EEE
Producer Register No. IT21110000013455. Register of Manufacturers of Bat-
teries and Accumulators No. IT21110P00007462
Active Shield is only compatible with Zer0 32 Active Series filters and is sold
separately from them. The Active Shield device is resistant to dust infiltration
and water splashes and has achieved IP53 certification.
The Active Shield device complies with the RED Directive 2014/53/EU and has
obtained certification under No. 2051-RED-221102. Radio interface: Bluetooth
5.0 Class 2 / Maximum Power: 20 dBm / Operating Band: 2402-2480 MHz
The Active Shield features a smart extraction fan that continuously optimizes
the airflow inside the mask, reducing moisture, heat and CO2. Active Shield
provides the same degree of protection even when it is off or unloaded, func-
tioning as a normal exhalation valve
WARNINGS / 1) Store the device in a dry place with ambient temperature be-
tween 0 °C and 40 °C. 2) DO NOT dispose of the device together with general
waste. Follow local regulations for disposal of electronic equipment. 3) DO NOT
immerse the device in water.
4) Upon completion of use/maintenance/charging, properly close the USB port
cover tab to ensure proper operation of the device and its degree of protection.
5) DO NOT expose the device to heat sources. 6) Handle the device with care.
7) DO NOT disassemble the device. Important: in case of malfunction contact
customer service. Any unauthorized repair will void the warranty, releasing BLS

ASSEMBLY / As shown in figure 2: 1) Release the bayonet cap (C) from the
Active Shield (a) by turning it counterclockwise (if this is the first use, remove
the cardboard between bayonet cap and Active Shield in the same way). 2)
Hook the Active Shield (a) onto the bayonet (b) of the Zer0 32 Active Series
