and rotate the Active Shield (a) clockwise until the end stop is reached.
POWER ON / 1) Press the button (short press). 2) The status LED lights up
white. Note: If the status LED flashes rapidly when the power is turned on
it means that the Active Shield battery is getting low but there is still some
battery life left. We suggest connecting it to a charging source (see Charging
chapter). If the status LED flashes rapidly and then the Active Shield turns off,
it means the battery has been discharged. Connect to a charging source (see
Charging chapter).
USE / When turned on, the Active Shield is in automatic mode: the fan auto-
matically adjusts according to your breathing rate (status LED flashes white
color). To enter manual mode: press the button once and the status LED lights
blue, thus accessing the first preset speed (low speed 30%). Pressing second
time switches to the second speed (average speed 60%). Pressing third time
switches to the third speed (100% high speed). Pressing a fourth time will re-
turn to automatic mode, and the status LED will light up white again. Note: if
the Active Shield is connected to the enterprise platform, the manual mode is
disabled and the fan speed can be set by the platform.

RECHARGE / To charge the Active Shield, lift the USB-port cover tab and
connect a USB-Micro cable to the charging port (use a standard charger for
smartphones or electronic devices or plug it into the charging station. Always
check the voltage, do not exceed 5V). Important: upon completion of charging,
be sure to properly close the USB port cover tab to ensure proper operation of
the product and its degree of protection.
Rechargeable Battery: Capacity: 800 mAh / Voltage: 3.7V / Charging dura-
tion: +/- 3hr / Usage time on single charge: + 7hr. Note: indicative figure taken
during the combined use of speeds. With exclusive use of maximum speed,
the duration will be shorter.
Status LED (charge indicator): Flashing green: charging / Static green: full
charge. Note: fully charged, after few minutes the LED will go out. Incorrect
connection of the charger could cause serious damage to the device. Damage
