1.5 Liability and warranty provisions

Liability
Installations and repairs not carried out by
professionals authorised by the manufac-
turer or not using original service com-
ponents, and technical modifications to the
unit, which are not approved by the manu-
facturer, may void the manufacturer's
product liability.
Warranty
Damage occurring as a result of non-com-
pliance with this installation manual is ex-
cluded from the warranty.
The following are also excluded from the
warranty:

2.2 General safety instructions

This UltraVent condensation hood is de-
signed in such a way that it presents no
danger if installed according to instruc-
tions. This manual describes how to install
the UltraVent condensation hood cor-
rectly.
Adhere to the relevant local regula-

tions and standards in your country for
ventilation and extraction of exhaust
air.
Secure the condensation hood against

tipping during transport and after set-
ting up at the installation location.
Wear appropriate protective clothing,

such as protective gloves and safety
gloves, when transporting and in-
stalling the unit.
Do not flambée under the condensa-

tion hood.
