BEFORE TURNING THE DEVICE ON, READ THE
INSTRUCTION MANUAL THOROUGHLY AND
OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES
1. SAFETY OF USE

1.1. GENERAL NOTES

• Take care of your own safety and that of third parties
by reading and strictly following the instructions,
included in the operating manual of the device.
• Only qualified and skilled personnel may be allowed
to start, operate, maintain and repair the machine.
• While the device is in use, keep third parties,
particularly minors, away from the place of use
• The plasma cutter is a device designed for cutting
metal. The machine must only be used for its
intended purpose.
• During operation, the device generates
electromagnetic field around itself, which may
cause erroneous operation of medical implants, e.g.,
pacemakers, etc.
• Never point the torch gun towards yourself, other
people or animals.
• Prior to any adjustment, maintenance, nozzle
replacement, etc., disconnect the device from the
power supply.
1.2. PREPARATION OF WORKSTATION FOR CUTTING
CUTTING MAY CAUSE FIRE OR AN EXPLOSION
The plasma beam creates hot metal particles and sparks.
Hot metal particles, sparks, and hot tools or equipment may
cause fire or burns. Closely examine the work environment
and make sure it is suitable as a working area before using
the device.

• Remove all flammable materials within a 12 m radius
of the plasma cutter.
• If this is not possible, cover the flammable materials
with a flame-resistant covering.
• It is forbidden to cut in places where flammable
materials may be ignited.
• Protect yourself and others from flying sparks and
hot metal particles.
• Keep in mind that sparks or hot metal splinters may
penetrate through gaps or openings in protective
gear.
• Pay close attention to the electric arc and make sure
a fire extinguisher is at hand.
• Keep in mind that cutting close to a ceiling, on the
floor or between partitioned space may cause a fire
on the other, not visible side.
• Only air should be used to supply the device – DO
NOT use any other gases.
• Use the device in an ambient temperature range
between -10 to 40°C and humidity of < 80%
• Make sure to find solid footing before you start
cutting.
CUTTING NEAR TANKS OR DRUMS CONTAINING
FLAMMABLE SUBSTANCES IS PROHIBITED.
• Do not use the plasma cutter to defrost frozen pipes.
• Do not use the plasma cutter to cut tanks or
containers that contain or have previously contained
flammable materials. The containers must first be
emptied and thoroughly cleaned.
• Do not cut in an atmosphere containing flammable
particles or vapours of explosive materials.
• Do not plasma-cut pressurized tanks, pressure
system pipes or pressurized containers.
• Before beginning work, remove any flammable or
explosive objects or materials, such as propane-
butane, lighters or matches from the area.
• Observe safety and OHS regulations applicable to
plasma-cutting work and ensure the work station is
equipped with an appropriate fire extinguisher.
• Touching the electrically-charged components can
lead to electric shock or serious burns. The flame and
the working circuit are electrically charged whenever
the power is on. The input and internal circuit of the
device are also live whenever the power is on.
1.3. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

• Always wear a protective mask with side shield.
• Always wear appropriate protective clothes in order
to protect your body.
• Always wear fire-resistant earplugs or other hearing
protection in order to prevent sparks from entering
your ears.
• During the cutting process, the electric arc generates
large amounts of both visible and invisible radiation
(ultraviolet and infrared radiation) that can damage
the eyes and skin.
ELECTRIC ARC RADIATION MAY BURN EYES AND SKIN
• During plasma-cutting, it is required to wear clean,
oil-free protective clothing (leather, thick cotton),
leather gloves, sturdy shoes and a protective hood.
• Always use face protection (helmet or hood) and eye
protection with a shade filter intending to protect the
eyesight of welders from the welding current being
used.
• Safety standards propose tint no. 9 (no. 8 at minimum)
for every current intensity below 300 A. A lower shield
tint may be used if the arc covers the workpiece.
• Always use safety goggles with a side shield under a
helmet or another protection.
• Use welding curtains to protect other people against
blinding light or sparks.
• Warn bystanders not to look at the electric arc.
1.4. PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTRIC SHOCK
ELECTRIC SHOCK CAN BE LETHAL!
• The power cable should be connected to the nearest
socket. Do not position the cable negligently in the
space or on a surface which has not been checked,
as this can lead to electric shock or fire. Touching
electrically charged elements can cause electric
shock or serious burns.
• The electrical arc and the working area are electrically
charged when the power is flowing.
• The input circuit and inner power circuit of the
devices are also electrically charged when the power
supply is turned on.
• The elements under the voltage charge must not be
touched.
• Dry, insulated gloves without any holes and
protective clothing must be worn at all times.
• Insulating mats or other insulating layers, big
enough as not to allow for body contact with an
object or the floor, must be placed on the floor.
• The electrical arc must not be touched.
• Electrical power must be shut down prior to cleaning
or electrode replacement.
• Check if the earthing cable is properly connected
and the pin is correctly connected to the earthed
socket. Incorrect earthing connection can cause life
or health hazard.
• The power cables must be regularly checked for
damage or lack of insulation. Damaged cables must
be replaced. Negligent insulation repair can cause
death or serious injury.
• The device must be turned off when it is not in use.
• Do not wrap the cable around the body of the
device.
• The object which is being cut must be properly
grounded.
• Only equipment in good condition can be used.
• Damaged device elements must be repaired or
replaced.
• All fittings and safety elements must be stored in
one place.
• From the moment the device is turned on, the
handle end must be kept away from the body.
• Attach the operating cable to the proper metal
contact of the object being cut (not to a piece that
is being cut off) or to the work table as close to the
plasma cutter as needed.
• Insulate the working clamp unless it is connected to
the workpiece in order to avoid contact with metal.
THE DEVICE MAY STILL BE ELECTICALLY CHARGED
AFTER THE POWER CABLE IS DISCONNECTED.
• The voltage in the input capacitor must be checked
upon turning off the device and disconnecting it
from the power source. Make sure that the voltage
value is equal to zero. Otherwise, the device
elements must not be touched.

ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a risk of an accident or injury when using the
device. When using the device stay alert and use
common sense.

3. OPERATION NOTES
3.1. GENERAL NOTES
• The device must be used according to its purpose,
in observance of OHS regulations and restrictions
resulting from data included in the rating plate (IP
level, operation cycle, supply voltage, etc.).
• Do not open the device. Doing so will void the
warranty. The exploding, unshielded elements can
cause serious injuries.
• The manufacturer does not bear any responsibility
for technical changes to the device or material losses
caused by the introduction of said changes.
• In case of incorrect device operation, contact the
service centre.
• Do not cover the ventilation slots - set the device at a
distance of 30 cm from surrounding objects.
• Do not hold the device under your arm or near the
body.
• The device must not be used in spaces with exhaust
emissions, a great deal of dust, or near devices with
high electromagnetic field emission.
• WORK CYCLE:
The duty cycle is the percentage of the operating
time (measured in minutes) in a 10-minute period
in which the machine is used continuously under
normal temperature conditions.
