Preparations
Batteries
• Once the batteries are charged, insert them into their
respective receptacles.
• Slide the battery into its receptacle until you hear a click to
make sure they are correctly inserted.
• To remove the batteries, press the latch (A) and slide the
battery out.
• To make sure the batteries are charged, press the
indicator button (B) next to each battery. The color of the
light indicates the charge level.
Tool/battery protection system
CAUTION
• The tool is equipped with a system that
automatically stops the tool to prolong both its useful life and
that of the batteries, this happens in the following cases:
Overload. When the tool is forced, the batteries consume
abnormally high current levels. Suspend overexertion work
and turn the tool back on.
Overheating. Let the tool and batteries cool before turning it
back on.
Over-discharge. The batteries level is low. In this case,
remove the batteries from the tool and charge them.

Star Up

Turning on
• To start the string trimmer, hold down the switch lock (C)
and pull the trigger switch (D).
• The switch lock (C) prevents accidental starting.
• To turn the string trimmer off, release the trigger switch
(D)
• In case the blade gets stuck in the brush, release the
switch trigger (D), press the reverse button (E) and pull
the switch trigger again.

NOTE: Depending on the conditions of use and ambient
temperature, the indication may differ slightly from the
actual capacity.
Operation
trimmer operator are responsible for your safety, as well

Follow all safety rules (pages 4 and 5) before operating
the tool.
• Maintain a balanced stance with both feet firmly on the
ground.
• Hold the string trimmer firmly in front of you with both
hands so that the tool is in line with your body and
pointing the cutting head 30° down, away from your feet.
