— Kickback from the workpiece or part of the
workpiece.
• Risk of personal injury due to vibrations. Vibrations
from power tools can cause injuries. Stop work
immediately and see a doctor if you experience
numbness, itching, tingling or pain, or if your skin
becomes discoloured. Depending on the use of
the tool, the vibration values may deviate from
the specified values. The following factors can
influence the level of vibration:
— Incorrect/inappropriate use.
— Unsuitable accessories.
— Processing of unsuitable materials.
— Inadequate maintenance.
• Use clamps or another convenient method to
secure and support the workpiece on a stable
surface. Holding the workpiece with your hand or
against your body will make it unstable and can
lead to loss of control.
• Only use rotary cutting tools that have the correct
shank diameter for the collet attached.
USE
The device is suitable for waxing, polishing and grinding
paintwork, plastics, coatings and other smooth surfaces.
Inserting the cutter into the chuck
Make sure that the router is switched off. If you set the
direction of rotation switch to the centre position, the unit is
secured against being switched on.
1. Press the spindle lock button.
2. Now loosen the tensioning nut with the spanner provided.
3. Insert the milling head into the chuck.
4. Press the spindle lock button and hand-tighten the
clamping nut using the spanner. Caution: Never tighten
the clamping nut when there is no tool in the chuck.
5. After installing the router head, allow the router to rev
up to full idle speed and look for any vibrations that may
indicate an imbalance.
SETTING DEPTH STOP/IMMERSION DEPTH
1. Loosen the depth stop adjustment screw.
2. Place the cutter on the workpiece and set the
desired plunge depth.
3. Fix the depth stop by hand-tightening the
adjustment screw again.
