• Always unplug drill before changing
drill or bit.
• The chuck key should always be
stored in the key holder.
• To avoid injuries, securely attach the
workpiece (e.g. with vice or clamp).
• When drilling or driving screws: Do not
allow the motor to stall under the load.
• Wear ear defenders when using an
impact drill. The effects of noise may
lead to loss of hearing.
• Only use the additional handles
supplied with the unit. Loss of control
of the unit may lead to injuries.
• Hold the tool by the insulated handle
surfaces when carrying out tasks
during which it is possible that the
tool will come across hidden power
cables or its own cable. Contact with
a power-carrying cable can also put
metal parts of the unit under power
and cause an electric shock.

Inserting bit/tool
The drill has a quick-action chuck for
changing tool manually without a key.
Grasp the drill by the rear chuck ring.
Turn the front ring to the left to open the
chuck. Insert the bit and fix in position by
turning the front ring to the right (Fig. 2).
