To check this, crank the stand up a few centimetres and press down the safety lever;
repeat this action a few times to ensure it functions correctly.
If the columns or the mechanism are iced up, try to de-ice but do not expose to direct flame or use a
de-icing fluid (joints and bearings could be affected by this).
SPARE PARTS
In the event on the product becoming defective, the unit should be returned to an authorised Videndum Media
Solutions service agent.

COLUMN REGULATION PROCEDURE
1. Make sure you have the stand with the column closed, with the legs open and level (use the bubble on the
upper cross).
2. Turn the wheels inwards to a radial position and activate the brake to prevent shifting. (fig. 19)
3. Extend the column to the maximum height without load and move it slightly back and forth, right and left
with the handle to see if it is well guided or if there are any plays. (fig. 20)
4. Lower the column until the guides are accessible but without completely closing everything. (fig. 21)
5. To adjust the various sections of the column, unscrew the screws of guides 1 and 2, advance the guide to
the required position and screw the guides back on. Do this on the desired columns. (fig. 22)
6. To recover the clearances of the base column, screw the dowels present on the side of the column (fig.
23) and reduce the lateral clearances. Act on the central grain (fig. 23). To recover the slack and adjust the
column in the front direction.
7. Once you have made the adjustment and made sure you have closed all the screws, extend the column
and check that the adjustment has been successful, if not repeat the procedure.
GREASING OPERATION

To grease the indicated area use a general grease spray.
For lifting chain use a general grease spray for chains
1. Wheel rotation locking pin "Y"
2. Thrust bearing between the wheel bracket and moveable leg stirrup "Z"
3. Pivot pin of the moveable leg stirrup "AA"
4. Lifting Chains "AB"

BRAKE MAINTENACE
Check the correct functioning of the braked wheels by attempting to force the movement of the wheel with the
brake applied, if the wheel starts moving when force is applied the brake must be adjusted:
1. Release the brake "AC"
2. Unlock the brake pad adjustment by unscrewing the locking nut "AD"
3. Adjust the brake pad by tightening or loosening the threaded pin until the pad touches the wheel, then
move the brake pad away from the wheel by loosening the threaded pin by ½ a turn "AE"
4. Engage the brake by pushing the lever and then lock the brake pad in position by tightening the locking nut
"AF" and "AG"
5. Release the brake again and make sure the wheel spins freely without touching the brake pad
6. Check the correct brake adjustment as explained above
Repeat the check for each wheel
LIFTING THE STAND WITH A WINCH OR LIFTING GEAR
To move the stand using a winch or other lifting gear, lift or lower the stand with a webbing sling (not included)
around and through the upper spider "AH"
While lifting or lowering, verify that the stand is well balanced and that the legs are securely fastened "AI"
Never load webbing slings beyond their maximum carrying capacity and check that it is correctly fixed to the
stand and to the lifting gear.

Do not use the product beyond the defined operating limitations.
