7. OPERATION
Your Stove will be ready to light a fire once it has
been installed and connected to the chimney.
Although it is easy to operate, the solid fuel com-
bustion process is complex, as several factors are
involved, and it takes time and experience to un-
derstand how it is done.
Before you start your Stove for the first time, get
to know the different control systems and parts of
this appliance, learn how to choose the wood,
how to light it and how to use it daily.
ALWAYS BE AWARE that the Stove produces heat
and, therefore, you must keep children, clothes,
furniture... away from it, as contact with it can
cause burns.
Here are tips to help you get to know the product
and how it works. Please read them carefully.
Door control
To open the door, hold the knob and pull gently
towards you. Always use a heat-protective mitten.
To close the door, hold the control and gently
push the door towards the Stove. Always use a
protective glove (Fig.3).
Ashtray
Very important!
Always operate the ashtray when the Stove is
cold.
To clean the ashes, lift the grill at the back of the

stove. Push the ashes with a tool (brush) into the
ashtray.
The ashtray is on the right side of the Stove. (Fig.
4).
To remove the ashtray, pull it towards you. Once
the ashes have been emptied, put the ashtray
back in its place.
