RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

• Plein-Aircon is designed to cool and dehumidify your vehicle during hot and sultry summer nights.
If it is switched on in MAX mode immediately after the traditional air conditioning has been
turned off, it can prolong its beneficial effect even during the day.
• To improve the efficiency of the air conditioner, it is advisable, if possible, to park the camper-
van away from the sun.
• To improve the efficiency of the air conditioner, it is advisable to keep the windows of the
campervan closed to avoid dispersion of fresh air and intake of heat and humidity.
• To improve the efficiency of the air conditioner, it is advisable during the short daytime stops
of the camper-van exposed to sunlight, in order to reduce the temperature increase due to the
greenhouse effect, to keep the second roof hatch (if present) slightly open.
• During the use in battery mode, in order to improve the efficiency of the air conditioner, it is
advisable to set a rather low initial temperature when it is turned on, in order to quickly reduce
the initial impact of the heat accumulated in the campervan after a long exposure to the sun's
rays, but subsequently, when it is running, set a temperature only a few degrees lower than the
external temperature. By doing so, the air conditioner will operate by performing work cycles
under optimal conditions, definitely reducing energy consumption, and still ensuring a pleasant
and not too cold temperature on board.
Remember that the perceived well-being results from the lowering of temperature but, above
all, from the reduction of humidity. As a matter of fact, Plein-Aircon, in addition to cooling the air,
simultaneously dehumidifies it, allowing for good thermal comfort even at high temperatures,
thanks to its dehumidifying effect. It is therefore useless to set 18° C when the outside
temperature is 35° C.
