When using power tools, you should take into
account basic safety precautions to avoid the risk of
fire, electric shock and personal injury.
Always read the safety, operating and maintenance
instructions before you start using your smart battery
charger. Keep the instruction manual for future reference.
It is your responsibility to follow these preventive measures
in order to ensure your own safety. Always use the charger
carefully and responsibly. In using the charger, you accept
full responsibility for any accidents caused to third parties
or their property during its use.
The charger may only be used by individuals who have read
the instruction manual and are familiar with its handling.
Before using the smart battery charger for the first time,
must ensure they are instructed adequately and practically.
The instruction manual is considered an integral part of the
appliance and must always be made available alongside
the product.
Never allow the charger to be used by children, individuals
with limited physical, sensory or mental capacities,
individuals with lack of experience and knowledge or who
are not familiar with the use instructions.
This charger may only be used as stated in this
instruction manual. Any other use, which may be
dangerous and may cause injury to the user or damage the
equipment, is not permitted.
For safety reasons any alteration to the charger is
prohibited. The warranty will be voided if you alter it in any
way.
Do not use the charger in explosive environments,
especially in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or
dusts. Placing or removing the battery in the charger can
ignite dust or gases.
The input voltage must match the charger's
technical specifications. Keep voltage within ± 5% of
the nominal value. Do not use the charger in places where
the supply voltage is unstable. The power cord must be
plugged into a socket with a differential current protection
and earthing connection.
If the working area is extremely hot, damp or with high dust
concentration, the socket circuit must be protected with a
circuit breaker (30mA), to ensure user's safety.
Do not expose the charger to rain or use it in wet or damp
environments. The presence of water in a power tool
increases the risk of damage and electric shock to the user.
Never use the power cord to pull, carry or unplug the power
tool. Damaged power cord increases the risk of electric
shock.
Keep the power cord and plug away from heat
sources, oil, sharp objects and the rotating accessory.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
qualified technician;
Do not modify the power cord's plug. Use a compatible
socket with the plug. Do not use any type of adapter.
The use of extension cords to connect the power cord is not
recommended. However, if you use an extension cord, you
should take some precautions, such as:

If using this device outdoors, use only suitable extension
cords for outdoor use. Using a proper extension cord
reduces the risk of electric shock;

Use only extension cords, plugs and sockets with earth
connection;
▪
The extension cord's cable cross-section must be
proportional to the length and have equal or higher
characteristics to the charger's power cord;
▪
Do not use damaged extension cords. Check them before
using and replace if necessary;

Always unplug the extension cord before removing the
charger's power cord;
▪
When using an extension cord reel, unroll the entire
cable.
Any misuse may result in warranty revocation. The
manufacturer is not liable for any damage caused by
misuse. The device is not intended for industrial
application.
